Unisa has just released the Application Dates for Students:

Semester One

Undergraduate Applications: 30 July 2018 to 21 September 2018

Undergraduate Applications means that you apply to study one of the following:

Unisa Higher Certificate
Unisa Diploma
Unisa Bachelors Degree
B.Tech Degree
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Semester Two

Undergraduate Applications: 3 April to 30 April

Once you application is accepted, then you must Register in the Registration period, which will be early in .

Applications for first-time entering students

Unisa re-opened applications on 15 January 2018 for first-time entering undergraduate students as a result of extended funding opportunities available to first-time entering students.

While the deadline for applications was 30 January 2018, Unisa offices will still accept applications from first-time entering students until Wednesday 31 January 2018.

Semester 1 registration for re-registering Unisa students and students who successfully applied for admission during 2018

The deadline for semester 1 modules for re-registering students and students who successfully applied for admission in 2018 for the academic year has been extended to Friday 2 February . This includes modules for the CAS honours and postgraduate diploma qualifications. The final date for initial minimum payments (so that your registration can be finalised) is also Friday 2 February 2018.

Registration period for applicants who applied for admission during the extended application period in

Applicants who applied for admission during the extended application period in 2018 and who received confirmation that their application has been accepted may register for the 2018 academic year until 2 February 2018. If you are unable to register by 2 February , you may then register from 12 to 20 February . The final date for initial minimum payments (so that your registration can be finalised) is 20 February .

The registration deadline for year modules remains 30 March . This includes registration for year modules in undergraduate and honours degrees, postgraduate diplomas, master’s and doctoral qualifications.
